Wish upon a star

Wish upon a star review

Wish Upon a Star is a Christmas slot from Greentube's Redline Games studio, released in December 2019 and set at the North Pole among elves, candy canes, jingle bells and wrapped presents. It plays on 5 reels and 3 rows with 243 ways to win from left to right, and Greentube rates its volatility as medium, 3 out of 5. Three features share the work: stacked present Wilds that open a pick-and-click, Free Games, and a hold-style jackpot round with five jackpot levels. The free demo on this page lets you try all of it with virtual credits. Demo results are for practice only.

Features & bonus round

• Release date: December 2019
• Volatility: medium (3 of 5)
• Grid: 5x3
• Ways: 243, left to right

• Features: Free Games, Stacked Wilds with Bonus Prizes, Wish Upon A Star Jackpots
• Theme: Christmas at the North Pole
• Stacked Wilds with Bonus Prizes: the Present is the Wild. A full stack of Presents on reel 2 or reel 4 starts a pick and click with 3 presents, and you pick 1. Full stacks on both reels 2 and 4 give a pick of 2 from 6. A present can hold a cash prize, a jackpot or 10 Free Games.
• Free Games: 3 or more Bonus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 award 10 Free Games, and more can be won during the feature.
• Wish Upon A Star Jackpots: 6 or more Bonus symbols start the round. They lock in place for 3 Bonus Spins, and every new Bonus symbol locks too and resets the count to 3. Fill every position with Bonus symbols and you win the Grand Jackpot; otherwise each Bonus symbol pays a Mini, Minor, Maxi or Major jackpot or a prize of up to 15x the total bet.

Wish Upon a Star suits players who want a seasonal game with more than one route to a prize. The two Wild reels make the pick and click the most frequent treat, while the jackpot round is the one to watch, because only a full screen of Bonus symbols lands the Grand. Do not mix it up with the 2026 sequel Wish Upon a Star 2, which is a different, more volatile game. Try the demo first and keep a budget for real play.
